Martine Breton, President of Breton Communications Inc.

Honing more than 28 years of experience in the optical publishing industry, Martine Breton continues to deliver at a proficient level. Astute and possessing strong leadership qualities, she is the president and publisher for Breton Communications Inc., a publishing firm specializing in the optical industry since 1995. The company offers print media both in French and in English, websites, electronic newsletters and other types of services to meet the needs of eye care and eyewear professionals, primarily in Canada. With strong analytical and interpersonal skills, Ms. Breton effectively oversees the operations of the company, building successful relationships with individuals in the optical industry. Through her competence she has participated as member of the jury for the international SILMO d’Or since the first edition in 1992.

For her diligence, she was nominated as the 2012 finalist for the Dunamis Award from the Laval Chamber of Commerce for Service Companies. She has been elected as a lifetime VIP Member of the Worldwide Who’s Who.

She has been part of the Executive Committee of the Eye Disease Foundation since 2007 and she is also a member of the Optical Women’s Association (OWA) since 2009.

Doris Ouellet, President and CEO of Doc and Associates Inc.

In 2003, she founded Doc & Associates Inc, a company specialized in the designing, the importation and the distribution of top quality optical eyeglasses and eyewear accessories, as well as in the creation of private label collections. She is a passionate entrepreneur with its thirty years of experience in the field of optical.

Doris Ouellet is clearly a model of vision, courage, perseverance, leadership and commitment for the Canadian business women community, because she has developed an original and thriving business that stands out from year to year.

Doris Ouellet is not only visionary, it is also distinguished by the excellence of its business practices. In addition to her professional achievements, Mrs. Ouellet is actively involved in local and international humanitarian aid, annually contributing in various foundations.

Doc & Associates Inc. is a WEConnect International Certified Quebec company, and a member of the Optical Women’s Association (OWA).

Isabelle Tremblay-Dawson, Business Development Director for Transitions at Essilor Group in Canada.

Isabelle has over 17 years of marketing and sales experience and has worked in the Optical Industry since 2002.

She is excited to join the Executive Board of the COFA has she strongly believes in the importance of building strong relationships and for optical women to encourage one another’s professional growth and success.

Isabelle is also passionate about the importance of eye health and is currently on the Executive Board of Directors of the Eye Disease Foundation.

Beverly Suliteanu, Director and Vice President of Product Development; Westgroupe

In 1994 Beverly Suliteanu joined her brother Michael Suliteanu in the family business founded by their father, Rodney Suliteanu. She has held key positions in sales and purchasing and is currently Creative Director and Vice President of Product Development of Westgroupe.

Beverly’s design perspective is influenced by the trends in fashion and interior design, as well as her love of travel and interest in the unique and varied cultures she experiences around the world.

Her corporate role in product development takes her to eyewear trade shows in the world’s fashion and commerce capitals, seeking the latest eyewear innovations which she translates into Canada’s foremost fashion eyewear brands.

Christine Zeggil, Sales Manager for Central Canada with HOYA Vision Care

Christine Zeggil has over 21 years of career experience in the areas of Sales, Marketing and Business Development. She has spent the last 16 years working in the Optical Industry and has held a variety of key positions and responsibilities. Christine is currently the Sales Manager for Central Canada with HOYA Vision Care.

Driven by quality, technology and innovation, Christine is grateful that every day she plays a role in improving people’s vision, to improve their quality of life. Christine strongly believes in the power of networking and the importance of building and sustaining strong relationships, connections and bonds.

Her goal as an Executive Board member of COFA is to encourage and empower other women in the optical industry toward their pursuit of professional fulfillment and success.
